The multicolored paint on Downtown Albuquerque’s newest apartments has barely dried, yet leasing has been booming.
The $16.2 million, 71-unit Casitas de Colores is 51 percent occupied, according to Theresa A. Bell, managing partner for developer Romero Rose.
Romero Rose embarked on the three-building multifamily development in conjunction with YES Housing about a year ago at 215 Lead Ave. SW. The site is just west of Romero Rose’s Silver Gardens development at Second Street and Silver Avenue SW.
